Congratulations! Birth Of The New Royal Baby

 Congratulations Kate and William! :)

My Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their new baby son who arrived safely. The baby weighed 8lb 6oz and was delivered at 4.24pm this afternoon. :)

Born to be King. The baby will be third in line to the throne. :)

The baby's name still remains unknown, however on the news earlier it mentioned that both Mother and baby are doing very well and the Duke and Duchess are both delighted by the birth of their new baby son. :)

Excitement! I look forward to hearing what the new Royal baby name will be. :)

You will love this! What was I doing when they announced the birth of the Royal baby? I was asleep! I had waited all week for news and when it was finally announced I was snoring my head off.

When I arrived home from work I felt a little under the weather therefore I went to bed at around 6pm. I didn't wake again until my Mum phoned. :) LOL@ your Mum when she says "Have you heard the news?" and you say "What news?" :o)

It can be very exhausting waiting to hear news of a Royal birth sometimes ;o)

It was revealed that the new baby will be called  George Alexander Louis. He will be known as Prince George of Cambridge. :)

'Monsters University'

I had a very pleasant weekend with my daughter Catherine.  I managed to wake up on time to pick my youngest daughter Lauren up and drive her to work...awww kisses.  :)  Catherine and I spent the day clothes shopping. LOL I think she dragged me into every clothes shop around Peterborough. It was fun. She even helped me to pick out a dress for work. She has good taste in clothing...she takes after her Mum. ;o)

We spent the later part of the afternoon lazying in the garden (It was a scorching hot day). :) We then both decided to go to the cinema to watch the Disney film 'Monsters University'....what a fun film. I loved it! Hehe for those who don't know me very well, my middle name is 'Agnes'....Yes I'm the Loch Nessy Monster. ;)

More to follow................................... it's late. ;)

Wimbledon Mens Final - 2013

Andy Murray wins the 2013 Wimbledon Mens Championship Finals!

Well done on the Centre Court at Wimbledon today Andy Murray! What a great day for sport. :)

Andy Murray played against  Novak DJokovic at Wimbledon this afternoon. What a tense game it was too. Murray Won 3 Sets to Love. The third set was so tense. There were three occasions when Murray was open to win championship points however Kjokovic seemed to defend himself quite brilliantly, however Murray proved what a strong player he was this year because he went on to win the match. I am sure it must have been the banana he ate during the interval. He seemed to come back with great strength after that. It was just brilliant. It was an omen I'm sure.....I've always had a thing about monkey's and bananas. ;)

It was great to see a few famous people in the crowds: David Cameron, Bradley Cooper and Gerard Butler to name just a few. I admit to losing concentration when the two latter names appeared on my screen. LOL :)

Twelve months ago I sat down to watch Andy Murray play in the Wimbledon Finals only to lose to Federer. So if anyone deserved to win at the Wimbledon Finals this year, then it's Andy Murray because he really deserved this win. I am so pleased for him. It's been a fabulous Wimbledon. I have loved it!

It has been 77 years since Britain won the last Wimbledon Championship title. Fred Perry was the last British player to win. All the more reason for the pressure to be on Andy Murray today. Big Cheers! :)

Ps What did I always tell you? You must never hurry a Murray. ;)

Another Fun Day!

I recently had a fun day in Ipswich. My daughter Catherine, my mum and I enjoyed our stroll by the marina. We later visited an art exhibition. My thanks to my daughter's friend Heather who helped to show us around the exhibition.  :)

A Lovely Weekend!

I have had a very lovely weekend. It was simply the best!

Saturday was spent relaxing at a friends barbecue party which included a live band. :)  The food, the band and the company were great and yes, I did relax.  I have been feeling unwell for the past few days therefore it was great to be recovering in good company. :)

Today (Sunday) was simply perfect!  I spent the day with BOTH of my lovely daughters Catherine and Lauren. We spent the day at Houghton Mill and Hemmingford Abbots. I find it so relaxing to be by the river and the river boats. It was a very peaceful day. We later walked to Hemmingford Abbots where we sat and watched a fabulous brass band play. Photographs to follow. :)

Below are the band I went to watch play at a friends barbecue party on Saturday night. They were called 'Hey Pedro' and they sang a couple of Chuck Berry type of songs. "Johnny Be Good" was a favourite. :)  I will display a few on here, however because it was a private party I will display the rest on a private site. Only persons with a password will be able to view them. I will let you know when I have uploaded them all. :)
